St Patrick's Catholic School
Winton

Principal's Message

St. Patrick's SchoolWelcome to St. Patrick’s Catholic School, Winton.

At St. Patrick’s we are committed to the Gospel Values and Jesus’ teachings.  We have a supportive and welcoming atmosphere with strong links to the Parish.  Our smaller, multi-age class sizes give all students the opportunity to know and respect one another.

We appreciate and encourage strong parental involvement to nurture and challenge students as they grow in the Catholic faith and develop their potential.  The close working relationship between staff and parents acknowledges the co-educational role and as such, parents feel comfortable and are an active part of school life.

St. Patrick’s embraces the very latest in technology and best teaching pedagogies to educate students in line with the Australian Curriculum.  We are committed to meeting the challenges of education today and offer a wide range of spiritual, emotional, physical, academic and social justice opportunities.  We endeavor to help each individual student develop their skills, resilience and talents, along with a strong sense of compassion and justice, so that they will make a positive difference in our Winton community.

Our website is designed to provide you with further information about St. Patrick’s Catholic School.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions.

Finally, in the words of the Mercy Sisters Foundress, Catherine McAuley: “May He grant you every grace and blessing and make you one of His dearest and best beloved”.

Best wishes,

Mrs. Cathryn Cornish
